Too Many Languages

There are way too many programming languages out there. Even if I narrow them down to one or two in a given paradigm there are too many.

Array-based: J
Graphics-based: Processing
Dynamic Scripting: Python
Functional: Haskell / O'Caml
Concurrent: Erlang (or maybe LFE?)
Web: PHP
